Section 23B
Order To Ban Issuance Of Passport Or To Put It On Hold
Notwithstanding anything contained in the prevailing laws, the Commission may order the concerned body not to issue a passport to any accused or to put it on hold in case it has already been issued in view of the gravity of the offence, the circumstances in which the offence was committed, situation and the degree of offence and the punishment to be meted if proved guilty.
